- Adeeb Khan, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility, TIAA
Executive Director, Sustainable Food Trade Association
Alyssa Harding is the Executive Director of the Sustainable Food Trade Association as of August 2019. She has an educational foundation in agricultural ecology, with an additional certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility.
She previously managed Corporate Responsibility and External Relations at Justin’s, a Boulder-based nut butter company with a mission rooted in sustainability and community impact. Before Justin’s, she worked in the environmental sector for Colorado-based water conservation non-profits, and also spent time working in the solar industry. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Naturally Boulder, a non-profit with a focus on fostering sustainable entrepreneurship and regenerative business practices in the natural products community, and has published articles with PowerHouse Growers, educating readers about food security and sustainable agricultural solutions.
Director of Corporate Social Responsibility, TIAA
Adeeb Khan is the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility for the Denver office of TIAA, a Fortune 100 company dedicated to serving the financial needs of people who work in the academic, government and nonprofit fields. For nearly 100 years, TIAA has helped millions of customers live financially secure lives.
Prior to serving at TIAA, Adeeb spent 10 years in the nonprofit sector developing a variety of programs and initiatives to advance the common good. Adeeb recently served as the Senior Director of Volunteer Engagement at Mile High United Way where he launched a number of evidence based programs designed to improve academic outcomes for Colorado’s at-risk students.
Adeeb also served as the Regional Director of Health & Safety and Community Services at the Mile High Chapter of the American Red Cross. At the Red Cross, Adeeb created the Save A Life Denver public health program which successfully placed over 1,500 AEDs across the metro area. Adeeb has been engaged with many other nonprofits through board and committee work including the Denver Foundation, the Colorado Education Initiative, the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN) and others.
Adeeb is a graduate of the Annenberg School of Communication at USC and received his MBA with honors from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
